I also had a look at a few of the other pieces mentioned in the CNN piece at http://edition.cnn.com/2009/TECH/08/19/online.collaborative.art . They were all kind of charming. The Star Wars piece looks promising. Not finished yet though. Nice concept. And the video the bands made out of videos from fans. Charming. But none of them quite as good as inbflat.net and thelongestpoemintheworld.com. I wonder if John D. Sutter, who wrote the CNN article, is doing this regularly? Sort of like Matthew Mirapaul used to do for the New York Times? He used to write every week about net art for the New York Times. He got canned after the dot com crash, basically. Although it's rather different from 'The Longest Poem in the World' in that the site creator, Darren Solomon, selected the 20 music pieces from a much greater number of submissions which were recorded (in B flat) specifically for the project.
