Just in time for VALENTINE’S DAY…
Webyarns.com presents:
“HE SAID, SHE SAID” is a lover’s conversation in text, image, and sound. The dialogue is random: he says one thing, she says another–the truth (and music) is someplace in between…

Well worth the loading wait, Alan! I really like how the layered text/dialogue builds up the pressure, from within and without, like the randomly bombarding molecules within the pressure cooker on the stove. I like the cyclic nature of the piece too and the way the beginning – ‘touch me’ – and the ‘end’, ‘end’, ‘end’ are so loaded with a multiplicity of meaning.
Thanks, Christine, for your comments. This was a bit of an experiment: for some reason, I just don’t like doing the same thing twice, so each new piece is an adventure. I know you are like that, too! Any new pieces in the pipe?
Excellent in terms of its design, but I can’t help feeling this is rather a doomy view of male/female relationships, especially that deep footsteps-of-terror beat with which it opens. Once the more syncopated soundtrack kicks in, that’s when it starts to take off, for me.
Your stuff is never less than engaging and well-constructed, though, Alan.

Thanks for your comments, Edward. I had hoped the ending provided the upbeat theme of marital success, but I have to admit, my desire for realism may have predisposed me.
Re. “Any new pieces in the pipe?” thanks for asking, Alan. Yes, I’m working on something rather game-like so it involves learning lots of new stuff hence it’s going slowly. One of these days I won’t bite off more than I can chew!
